We are looking for a Groups & Events Assistant Trainee to join our team starting in January/ February 2027.
As part of the Groups & Events Department at the Brussels Marriott Hotel Grand Place, you will support the team in the administrative coordination of group reservations and events, from the initial inquiry through to the successful completion of each event.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting with the administration and follow-up of group and event bookings throughout the entire planning process.
Handling emails, phone calls, and client requests in a professional and timely manner.
Preparing proposals, confirmations, contracts, and other event-related documentation.
Entering group bookings, rooming lists, and event details into the reservation system.
Coordinating with the Banqueting, Front Office, Sales & Marketing, and other operational departments to ensure smooth event execution.
Preparing operational documents and event materials, including door cards, buffet labels, menus, and signage.
Managing the allocation of loyalty points for eligible groups and events.
Providing occasional on-site support to guests and the operations team during events when required.
