OBJECTIVE AND POSITION SUMMARY:
Responds to communications from guests, travel agents, and referral networks concerning reservations arriving by e-mail, telephone, and interfaced bookings from the central reservation systems. Creates and maintains reservation profiles and prepares offers/letters of confirmation and promptly processes any cancellations and modifications. Responds to special requests on third party websites.
Additional duties include processing advance reservation requests. Knows the type of rooms the hotel has as well as their location and layout. Knows of all hotel packages, promotions, calendar status, rates, and benefits. Has upsell techniques and promotes additional revenue through the E-Concierge
