Sales Manager MICE - H/F/X

Position Overview We are looking for a MICE Sales Manager who is a true hunter, focused on: ✅ Acquiring new clients in the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) sector, with a strong focus on association business. ✅ Developing and managing key accounts, ensuring long-term partnerships and repeat business. ✅ Filling low season periods by strategically targeting associations and corporate clients with flexible event needs. ✅ Expanding our hotel’s presence in the association and corporate event market through strategic sales initiatives. ✅ Travelling nationally and internationally to meet potential clients, attend industry events, and represent Dolce La Hulpe Brussels. The ideal candidate is a proactive sales professional with a strong industry network, skilled in both hunting for new business and nurturing existing client relationships. Key Responsibilities New Business Development & Lead Generation • Identify, research, and target new potential clients in the association and corporate markets. • Build and maintain a structured database of prospects, actively reaching out through networking, industry events, and direct sales efforts. • Develop tailored sales strategies to attract new business and convert leads into long-term clients. Key Account Management & Client Retention • Manage a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring exceptional service and repeat business. • Strengthen relationships with existing associations, corporate clients, and event agencies to maximize revenue potential. • Develop account-specific growth strategies and identify upselling opportunities. Proactive Sales, Networking & Travel • Represent Dolce La Hulpe Brussels at MICE trade fairs, networking events, and industry conferences, both nationally and internationally, to generate new leads. • Conduct client visits and sales missions to build strong personal relationships with key decision-makers. • Build strategic partnerships with associations and corporate event planners to secure high-value bookings. Filling Low Season Periods • Develop targeted sales strategies to increase occupancy and event bookings during traditionally slower months. • Work closely with associations and organizations that have flexible event dates to drive business during off-peak periods. • Promote special offers, incentives, and packages tailored to low season demand. Sales Targets & Revenue Growth • Work independently to achieve sales targets, focusing on both new client acquisition and key account expansion. • Maintain a strong sales pipeline, ensuring consistent revenue growth. • Report directly to the Director of Sales, providing insights on market trends and business opportunities.
