As a front office trainee, you will be mainly assisting in the daily operations of the front desk and with the daily tasks of the Front Office Manager. Here would be your duties and responsibilities: - You will be in touch with everything related to the reception, which is mostly guest experience management - Organize arrivals and departure details - Register and check accurate reservation details in accordance with hotel procedures - Deal with email correspondence, confirmation, offers and requested information - Control of individual and group reservations according to company policies - Process check-in and check-out as well as payments and cashier closures in accordance with Company standards - Inform guests depending on their needs: Restaurants, Bars, City tours, Places to visit, etc - Deal with guests’ enquiries in a courteous & professional manner while displaying clear & comprehensive knowledge of the hotel, facilities and local area in accordance with company standards - Proceed with controls within our PMS to ensure accuracy of figures and a smooth end-of-day or month procedures - Make sure that all services and areas of the hotel are working properly - Assist in the implementation of new products or solutions to the hotel - Propose Staff schedules based on daily workload, events and occupancy changes - Stock tracking and management for the Front Office - Guest experience management: problem solving, satisfaction checks, etc. - Guest feedback monitoring and response to reviews on various OTAs - Commission analysis, tracking and no show management on various OTAs
