Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
• Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue across rooms and several segments, corporate, leisure, events, and MICE.
• Identify and target new business opportunities within corporate contract, leisure groups, and MICE markets to increase our market share and profitability.
• Foster strong relationships with key corporate accounts, travel agencies, event organizers, and Accor’s global sales network.
• Conduct sales calls, site inspections, and business meetings with potential and existing clients.
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Revenue & Performance Management
• Work closely with the Revenue Management team to optimize pricing strategies, quotations, yield management, and maximize hotel profitability.
• Ensure that Accor’s brand standards and commercial policies are implemented effectively to achieve revenue targets.
• Monitor KPIs and sales performance, ensuring that revenue objectives are met or exceeded.
• Participate in weekly/monthly revenue meetings and provide strategic sales input.
MICE & Events Management
• Develop and promote the MICE segment, ensuring strong positioning of both hotels for corporate and social events.
• Work in collaboration with the Events & Operations teams to deliver seamless event planning and execution.
• Attend industry trade shows, networking events, and sales missions to increase visibility and secure new business.
Collaboration & Reporting
• Provide regular reports on sales activities, forecasts, and market insights to the General Managers and Accor regional, national and international teams.
• Ensure adherence to Accor’s commercial strategies, pricing guidelines, and brand positioning.
Required Qualifications & Skills
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in hotel sales, preferably within an international hotel chain.
• Proven track record in corporate sales, MICE, and business development in the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of the Brussels market and key business sectors.
• Familiarity with Accor’s sales platforms, distribution systems, and brand standards is a plus.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and trends.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple departments.
• Fluent in English, French, (any additional language is an asset).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Opera, and Accor sales tools.
• Availability to travel within Belgium and occasionally to international sales events.
