Commis de cuisine (M/W/X)

Function: Commis de cuisine Department: Kitchen Direct responsible: Chef Contract: Full time (38h per week) Objectives and tasks • Be responsible for the tasks ordered by the Chef de Partie or by the Chef himself. • Be able to prepare the service: - Assists with set-up - Cleans, washes, peels, cuts and cooks’ vegetables/fruits - Prepares garnishes, cold sauces, soups, appetizers, desserts, salads, etc. - Cuts and cooks’ food - Assists the chef or chef de partie in the preparation and delivery of dishes - Tidy and clean the kitchen and work areas - Maintains order and cleanliness in the kitchen - Observes safety standards while on the job - Orders, receives and controls merchandise under the direction of the chef or chef de partie • Follows recipes • Follow the sanitary process
