What’s the job?
As a Conference & Banqueting Executive you will manage and coordinate all conferences, meetings, group functions and group activities. You will also assist in the daily work flow and ensure a spotless administration.

Your day-to-day
• Organise and coordinate direct day to day conference/convention activities
• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
• Interact with outside contacts: guests, vendors, and any other contacts as needed.
• Provide guests with information (loyalty programs, facility information, etc.) to enhance guest experience.
• Monitor budget & up sell products + services while minimizing waste to increase revenue.
• Ensure all requirements of a group are met.
• In the pre-event planning process, consult with the meeting planners to identify optimal meeting room configuration, recommendation on meeting/break flow, menu planning, food and beverage coordination, table arrangements, decoration options, etc. to improve meeting efficiency and productivity.
• Arrange al details of meetings and conventions to include room set-ups, staging, lighting, audio-visual, menus, décor, entertainment, group room blocks, input of rooming list, transportation, billing instructions and VIP services.
• Meet with each meeting planner daily to debrief on daily events, review consumption, bill and any exceptions to contract billing and review estimates of final billing.
• Plan and conduct pre-event and post-event meetings with clients and catering staff to determine potential enhancements to the guest experience.
• Analyse and action against client satisfaction surveys to improve services.
What we need from you
• Great communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree/higher education qualification
• Must speak fluent English and either Dutch or French.
• Any other language is a plus!
• Well-groomed and professional appearance.
• Result orientated & driven
You will receive a gross monthly salary of €3,717.86 based on a 38-hour work week.
