B. Responsibilities & Duties
We are looking for a highly motivated trainee to be part of our F&B & banqueting team. You will take part to guest’s service in the mediterranean brasserie and in banqueting, participate in the implementation of the promotional & marketing program for our mediterranean brasserie including social media marketing. You will work under the supervision of the banquet supervisor.
Main activities:
• Participate in service activities; monitor service protocol and internal rules; ensure quality and professional customer service.
• Control workplace order and cleanliness as well as presentation of the team.
• Assist the banquet supervisor with the implementation of standards operations procedures (SOP)
• Welcome guests and ensure smooth service:
• Greet guests.
• Provide guidance to service team; ensure good service flow.
• Keep kitchen team informed of the situation related to the service on a regular basis
• Give constant attention to customer wishes and experience
After service:
• Help with stock control (drinks, china, cutlery, table linen, …) and communicate needs to the restaurant supervisor / banqueting supervisor.
Meeting & events operations service:
• Prepare meeting rooms under guidance of the banqueting supervisor.
• Welcome guests and orientate / escort them to their meeting room.
• Confirm with the guest coffee breaks, lunch & dinner servicing hours and inform the kitchen team accordingly.
• Ensure coffee breaks, lunch & dinner smooth service.
• Ensure meeting room is cleared after end of event.
• Participate in the banqueting event order meeting with the sales team, shadowing the banqueting supervisor, ensure all requirements are fulfilled.
F&B administrative tasks:
• Assist banquet supervisor with duty tasks.
• Implement Sop for banqueting and Elissa restaurant.
