Purchasing Manager - 22/09/23

Overall Job Purpose • Places orders, coordinates orders and deliveries • Place orders with suppliers; handle urgent deliveries • Maintains contact with suppliers • Monitors deliveries and follows up on any problems reported by reported by the relevant managers • checks invoices in accordance with purchase and delivery orders and delivery notes; reports deviations and solves problems • Controls data processing and item coding, assortments, stock, etc. • Compiles statistics based on various data to develop sales strategy • Assists with provisional and final budget implementation • Gathers information for major purchasing contracts and keep related files • Requests samples and interviews representatives • Requests quotations from suppliers and compares prices • Analyzes market trends • Provides purchasing advice to department representatives, makes purchasing proposals and suggestions
