F&B Coordinator - 03/08/18

Main purpose of job : The F&B Coordinator works closely with the Hotel Planner and Head chef and is responsible for the smooth operations of the restaurant and conference rooms. He/she ensures a constant flow of information to the operational F&B line staff (between staff, hierarchy, customer, different service ...) He or she will identify, analyze and anticipate the various problems that may arise: whether it is concerning events, in relation to our staff or our guests. Further to the expectations of the guests, the priority of the challenger is to successfully satisfying them and bringing balance between all (services to guests, catering department, revenue…). Together with the hotel Planner, they are the link between the guest requirements and all operational departments (Front Office, Food and Beverages, Conference, Housekeeping, etc.). Responsibilities / Tasks : ◾Optimize the operations and service delivery ◾Achieve financial results and other objectives ◾Improve guest & staff satisfaction ◾Ensure brand standards are implemented and respected ◾Reposition the restaurant lunch concept ◾Assist the Hotel Planner with enquiries, offers, follow-up

Compétences requises:   The F&B Coordinator must master the professional environment and have culinary, oenology and hygiene standard knowledge while acting as a sales person of its brand. He or she must use common sense, organization and diplomacy to ensure the coordination of the operations while taking care of the administrative tasks. ◾You are flexible and initiative-oriented and thrive in a hectic working environment. ◾Good communication skills, both written and oral in English and French are a must and any other language is an extra. ◾Friendly personality and high standard of customers' approach. ◾Dynamic, motivated with a professional personal presentation and customer service oriented. ◾Team player and positive minded attitude. ◾Computer literate (excel and word) - PMS system knowledge such as Opera is an advantage. ◾Good organization and communication skills. ◾Can handle more than one task/situation at the time and keeps control in stressful situations. ◾Analyses relevant information about an issue and makes conscious decisions for action. ◾Practical working experience as Hotel Planner and/or in F&B Operations is a must.
